HARBIN, China, Aug. 26, 2025 — On August 25, a delegation of journalists from prominent international media outlets visited Longjiang Forestry Group, immersing themselves in the distinctive autumnal charm of the forest region.
The media representatives first entered the virgin forest scenic area, often described as a “natural oxygen bar,” where they stood beneath ancient Korean pines to experience the timeless natural grandeur. At the China Snow Town scenic area, stories were shared regarding the dedication of forestry workers in safeguarding the forest and cultivating the brand of China’s snow town. This renowned ice-and-snow destination is now attracting global attention with its expanded range of all-season tourism offerings.
In the Yabuli scenic area, innovative “space capsule” lodging products, developed by Jingzhe Recreational Vehicle, integrate traditional box-style housing with modern cultural tourism homestays, introducing fresh possibilities for cold-region tourism. At a fresh corn processing plant, reporters observed the “fresh-in-three-hours” complete process, from field harvest to warehouse storage, which underscores Longjiang Forestry Group’s adherence to its ‘organic forest’ quality standards.
At the Yabuli Nursery, the Korean pine light-substrate container seedling technology has substantially improved tree survival rates and cultivation efficiency. The Weihe Ecological Command Center demonstrated real-time monitoring of forest dynamics, showcasing a premier national system for forestry sensing, operational scheduling, and emergency command. At the Pingshan Royal Deer Park, over 1,000 sika deer, red deer, and other species roamed freely in a semi-wild environment, providing a vivid illustration of the harmony between biodiversity conservation and eco-tourism development within the forest area.
Through this field trip, international media will highlight, from various perspectives, Longjiang Forestry Group’s initiatives and accomplishments in virgin forest protection, green industry advancement, and the integration of ecological tourism. This will convey the dynamic green transformation occurring in China’s northeastern forest regions and the steadfast confidence in sustainable development.
