President Donald Trump faced chanting as he attended a dinner gathering in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday evening. He was accompanied by Vice President J.D. Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and other officials.
Upon President Trump and his security team proceeding to their table at Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak and Stone Crab, a minimum of three individuals rose to their feet and started yelling.
At the location, shouts like “Trump, you are unwelcome here” were audible, succeeded by cries of “free D.C., free Palestine, Trump is the Hitler of our era.” The demonstrators displayed Palestinian flags and various banners during their protest.
Other diners, who had initially applauded Trump’s entrance, voiced support for him, exclaiming, “yes he is [welcome].”
As the protesters neared his table, the President motioned for his security personnel to escort them away, stating, “Come on, lets go, get them outta here.”
As they were being led out, a protester declared, “He is terrorizing populations globally, from Puerto Rico… from Palestine… to Venezuela; he is terrorizing communities. He is not permitted in D.C., he is not permitted in Palestine. Palestine is not available for purchase.” They also cried, “Shame on you all!”
The chants persisted outside the establishment, where they reiterated allusions to .
, identifying itself as a “feminist grassroots organization” that opposes U.S. conflicts and military actions, has taken responsibility for the demonstration.

Prior to entering the restaurant, Trump informed reporters outside that he was “not pleased” with the earlier targeting of Hamas officials in Doha, Qatar. He stated, “We desire the return of the hostages, but we are displeased with how that transpired today.”
Questioned about his surprise regarding Israel’s actions, Trump responded, “I am never surprised by anything, particularly concerning the Middle East.”
The President’s remarks mirrored statements he posted on Truth Social, where he reiterated his stance that Israel conducted the strikes on Qatar unilaterally.
He stated online, “I promptly instructed Special Envoy Steve Witkoff to notify the Qataris of the imminent assault, which he did, though regrettably, too late to prevent it.” He added, “I consider Qatar a steadfast ally and friend of the U.S., and I deeply regret the chosen site of the attack.”
Furthermore, Israel proceeded with enlarging its military activities in Gaza City on Tuesday, releasing “urgent” advisories to “all inhabitants of Gaza City and those situated in all its districts, extending from the Old City and Tafah in the east to the sea in the west.”
Meanwhile, the has cautioned that “the coastal area is already overcrowded with temporary shelters, compelling recently displaced families to reside perilously near the water’s edge.”
