“Individuals from various political backgrounds have conveyed their intent to participate in today’s protest, as most concur that a lavish welcome should not be extended to Donald Trump. The considerable turnout marching today is sending a clear message to [U.K. Prime Minister Keir] Starmer and his administration that they need to confront Trump,” a representative for the Stop Trump Coalition informed TIME.

Approximately 1,600 officers were stationed at the London protest, with 500 originating from other U.K. departments.
