London, England, October 21, 2025  – The Caribbean Global Institute has successfully commenced operations, initiating a novel path for regional advancement via partnership and inventive solutions.

The Caribbean Global Institute (CGI) officially began its operations on October 21, 2025, through a significant virtual event that garnered considerable international attention, drawing more than 78 registrations and 45 online attendees. The gathering united prominent international thinkers and leading regional figures, underscoring the institute’s dedication to building a robust future for the Caribbean via cooperation, advanced research, and targeted financial input.

The proceedings included an engaging presentation from CGI’s Founder and CEO, Dr. (h.c.) Michaelene Holder-March, who clearly defined the institute’s fundamental objective and strategic framework. Dr. (h.c.) Holder-March presented an ambitious concept for CGI, envisioning it as a central hub for practical remedies, highlighting its function in fostering the capabilities of future Caribbean leaders.

The schedule was enhanced by a varied group of international and regional presenters, among them Dr. M. Del Santiago-Valentín, Dale Barzey-Pond, Dr. Kathy-Ann Sienko, Professor Rotimi Jaiyesimi, and Rene Baptiste CMG, alongside a poetry segment titled “Human” by Dian Bates. Their combined perspectives highlighted the worldwide importance of the institute’s goals and the extensive backing for its formation.

Statement from the Co-Chairs: “Leading the inauguration of this crucial organisation was a privilege,” Dr. John Bolodeoku and Celia Davidson-Francis jointly remarked. “The enthusiasm and intellectual capacity evident during the event affirmed the essential demand for an entity such as CGI to consolidate and enhance the Caribbean’s presence internationally. The emphasis on concrete deliverables in scholarship and guidance is exactly what the area needs.”

Reiterating this perspective and delivering an explicit appeal for engagement, Co-Chair Celia Davidson-Francis further commented, “The objective is unequivocal. It is now essential for everyone–both in the diaspora and within the region–to actively contribute their backing and involvement to realise the complete promise of this revolutionary endeavour.”

Throughout the evening, conversations coalesced around CGI’s principal strategic foundations: nurturing cooperation, building strong guidance networks, leading innovative research in fields such as genetics, and promoting environmental stewardship. Substantial attention was dedicated to cultivating entrepreneurial centers and securing inventive financial frameworks to guarantee the sustained feasibility and effectiveness of these undertakings.

Comment from the Sole Founder/CEO: “Our strategic framework rests upon a bedrock of intention and collaboration,” stated Dr. (h.c.) [Founder’s Last Name], the Founder and CEO of the Caribbean Global Institute. “We are more than just an academic establishment; we are architects of an interconnected environment. By linking knowledge from around the world—ranging from genetic studies to commerce advancement—we will forge the centers and financial channels that convert pioneering research into lasting economic prosperity for the Caribbean. This venture has only commenced, and we welcome the international community to participate.”
