This investment will support their goal of simplifying business creation within Italy. The funding round saw investment from select angel investors, with contributions from Invitalia and fintech firm Viceversa. Prominent investors include Roberto Spada (Founder of Spada Partners), Luca Orsini (Founder of Antares European Fund), and Roberto Lombardi (business angel and investor).
LexDo.it delivers all necessary tools for new businesses, including online company registration and comprehensive management of accounting, contracts, and consulting services, all within a single digital platform. Users can also access a team of professionals and other helpful resources like business bank accounts, POS systems, grant and subsidized finance opportunities, and various digital products and services.
The newly acquired capital will be used to expand the team to around 100 employees by the end of 2025, incorporating more developers, designers, and legal and accounting professionals. The company also intends to expedite technological advancements, introducing new AI and automation-based features to further streamline management processes for SMEs and professionals.
Italy, with its 4.5 million active businesses (Eurostat), is a major European market but remains one of the most challenging and expensive countries to launch a business. Startup costs and administrative obligations can average over €4,000. LexDo.it currently supports more than 400,000 users and has assisted over 6,500 new businesses in getting off the ground, providing savings of up to €3,000 in the first year compared to traditional methods.
