Guangzhou, Guangdong Oct 2, 2025  – APR Electronic Services Sdn. Bhd. has achieved a significant milestone by connecting Selangor with Guangdong Women’s Polytechnic (GDWP), a prominent vocational institution for women in China. This connection was established through the signing of a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Selangor Technical Skills Development Centre (STDC).

The MoU, facilitated by APR, establishes a collaborative framework for live e-commerce training, digital entrepreneurship, vocational skills certification, and faculty-student exchange programs. The goal is to establish Selangor as a regional center for digital trade and innovative female talent.

APR as the Bridge Between Malaysia and China
APR’s initiative in bringing together STDC and GDWP made this collaboration possible, effectively bridging Malaysia and China in the areas of digital skills and vocational education.

APR will introduce global expertise to Malaysia, while STDC will act as the training base for cultivating local female talent. GDWP will contribute its extensive experience in women’s education and industry partnerships.

Strengthening TVET and Women Empowerment
The signing ceremony saw the participation of Mr. Mohammad Nazri bin Noh, Chairman of the Board of Directors, STDC, and Dr. Harizal bin Hamid, Acting CEO of STDC. They both reaffirmed Selangor’s dedication to enhancing its TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) ecosystem through international partnerships.

GDWP’s Expertise
GDWP, established in 1981, stands as the only public women’s vocational college in South China. It boasts over 9,400 students enrolled in approximately 30 programs. The institution serves as a provincial model for vocational education and is a pioneering force in technical training and entrepreneurship specifically tailored for women.
