London, United Kingdom Oct 3, 2025 – Distinguished cover model and actress Aria Walton recently attended a London Fashion Week show as a guest, where she was scouted by Aurelie, the French designer of La Maison Opale, for an upcoming documentary.
Despite an impressive international career as a commercial and editorial model, having appeared on the covers of globally recognized fashion magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar, Glamour, and L’Officiel, and recently walking runways at London and Paris Fashion Weeks, Walton has consistently preferred to maintain a low profile in her personal life. The model enjoys her profession, but has previously mentioned in interviews that she prefers not to attend many events or extensively publicize herself due to her introverted nature. However, she noted that she transforms into a distinct, more extroverted and artistic persona when modeling or acting, akin to Beyoncé, who is naturally reserved but embodies her alter-ego “Sasha Fierce” during performances.
Given her preference for privacy, Walton was not immediately recognized at the London Fashion Week show and deliberately chose a less prominent seat among the audience, as she was there to support a colleague walking in the event. Only at the show’s conclusion, when Walton rose, did numerous photographers notice her and rush to capture her image. It was at this moment that she drew the French designer’s eye, leading to a social media message inviting her to collaborate. The designer informed Walton that her striking presence perfectly encapsulated the essence of Catherine de’ Medici, the former Queen of France, an aura the designer sought for Walton to showcase her renowned Medici dress while starring in her forthcoming documentary.
Walton also participated in a backstage interview with France Télévisions, discussing her impressions of the La Maison Opale collection. The model stated that upon seeing the designer’s collection, she immediately recognized its potential for success within the fashion industry, remarking that the intricate, handcrafted, and distinctive designs and colors of the dresses truly distinguished them in a market dominated by fast fashion.
Recognized for cultivating enduring relationships within the fashion and film sectors, attributed to her exemplary work ethic and direct business approach, Walton is scheduled to walk for other designers at Paris Fashion Week. This includes an appearance for La Maison Opale on October 4th at the Lutetia Hotel, a direct result of her newly established professional connection with the designer.
