Time to Play is for nonprofits and business partners to connect for networking purposes

A networking gathering for nonprofit organizations and their advocates, scheduled for November 12, will precede the third annual ‘Time to Play’ event.

New Orleans, Louisiana – November 12, 2025 – An upcoming networking mixer is planned for November 12, from 6 PM to 8 PM, at the Carousel Gardens in New Orleans’ City Park. This event serves as a precursor to the third annual ‘Time to Play’ networking event, set for February 2026. All nonprofit entities and their crucial supporters – including volunteers, suppliers, and sponsors – are welcome to attend.

The event encourages adults and philanthropic individuals to engage in networking and interaction while exploring various nonprofit organizations, membership groups, and businesses offering support. Ty Salvant, founder and owner of Time with Ty, stated, “On Wednesday, November 12, we will host a unique networking session where participants can learn how to assist and collaborate with organizations driving genuine change.”

The primary ‘Time to Play’ event in February will maintain its core theme: “Connect, Partner, and Play.” Ty Salvant, founder of Time with Ty, noted receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback from previous annual gatherings. Mel B, a participant from the previous year, commented, “The enthusiasm was extraordinary, marked by a continuous flow of authentic interest and inquisitiveness, rather than isolated instances.”

Among the nonprofit organizations that participated last year were the New Orleans Public Library, NOLA Loves Cuba, One Happy Mama, Generation Hope, Fathers Matter NOLA, alongside numerous others.
