UK Financial LTD to Eliminate 2019 Bitcoin Gold-Backed MARP Tokens, Shifts Gold Backing to MCAT

UK Financial Ltd. announced today that on October 3, 2025, it will officially cancel the original 21 million MARP tokens held in an Escrow Wallet on the Etherium Classic Blockchain. These tokens were exclusively used to back Bitcoin with gold since 2019. Simultaneously, UK Financial Ltd will transfer 21 million MPRA Real-World Asset (RWA) tokens, currently valued at approximately $110 million, to the company’s public, irrevocable vault wallet: uk-financial-ltd-irrevocable-treasury-vault.eth. This move permanently secures MayaCat (MCAT) with gold backing, immediately increasing the asset value/book value of MCAT for the benefit of the UK Financial ecosystem.

Verification: Transaction on Ethereum Classic

These tokens have been untouched in the same Ethereum Classic wallet since August 2, 2019, ensuring a transparent and verifiable history.

Concurrently, UK Financial Ltd. will transfer 21 million Maya Preferred PRA (MPRA) / Wrapped MPRA (WMPRA) tokens to its vault at uk-financial-ltd-irrevocable-treasury-vault.eth. This action formally establishes the gold backing for the company’s meme coin, MayaCat (MCAT). Once executed on

October 3, 2025, MCAT will become the first meme coin globally to be backed by gold or any tangible asset.

In October, UK Financial Ltd. will relaunch three newly created versions of its original 2018 set of gold-backed tokens:
