SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA, Nov. 18, 2024 – At the Smart Construction Expo in November 2024 at KINTEX, South Korea, A.M.AUTONOMY will demonstrate MAP-TORCH, its 3D digitalization solution for construction sites.
Real-time 3D site digitalization is crucial for smart construction. MAP-TORCH enables rapid 3D site digitization, facilitating detection of physical changes. This data integrates with BIM for progress analysis and material quantity estimation, offering a 3D record and monitoring system superior to 2D alternatives.
MAP-TORCH X, an enhanced version, incorporates sensors for detecting hazardous gases and radiation, and integrates with MagoWorks for remote monitoring. Currently undergoing usability testing with the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute, MAP-TORCH X’s integrated radiation detector acquires 3D radiation distribution data in facilities like nuclear power plants. Its GPS-independent operation overcomes challenges faced by drones in surveying areas with disrupted GPS signals, significantly improving nuclear industry safety.
MAP-TORCH X received significant recognition in 2023 from international nuclear organizations and researchers at the IAEA. A.M.AUTONOMY is expanding its application beyond nuclear facilities to construction sites to prevent accidents from hazardous gases in confined spaces.
