FUJIFILM’s EG-740UT is now available across Europe.

RATINGEN, Germany, March 28, 2025 — FUJIFILM Healthcare Europe is pleased to announce the European launch of the EG-740UT interventional Ultrasonic Endoscope. This device boasts enhanced visibility, maneuverability, and single crystal image quality, making it ideal for therapeutic applications.

SINGLE CRYSTAL TECHNOLOGY
While single crystal technology is common in general ultrasound devices, FUJIFILM is among the first to develop a miniaturized single crystal transducer, which is integrated into the EG-740UT Ultrasonic Endoscope.

This specialized technology provides highly sensitive and accurate echo detection, along with lower-noise imaging, reducing the need for additional processing. When used with our advanced imaging modalities like Detective Flow Imaging (DFI), Contrast Harmonic Imaging (CHI), and ShearWave Measurement (SWM) available on the ARIETTA® ultrasound platforms, this endoscope is designed to deliver exceptional image quality during diagnostic procedures. It offers higher resolution and increased depth compared to previous generations.

DESIGNED FOR THERAPEUTIC USE
Featuring a 4.0 mm working channel and a slim insertion portion with a short bending radius and high deflection, the EG-740UT ultrasonic endoscope is designed for therapeutic use. Created for comfort and confidence during procedures, this interventional endoscope improves visibility in endoscopic and ultrasound images by minimizing the blind area between the working channel outlet, ultrasound scanning area, and endoscopic view.
