This year’s conference, themed “Creating New Momentum for Integration, Sharing New Opportunities in Tourism,” will highlight Jiamusi’s unique geographical attributes, ethnic culture, port infrastructure, and business innovations. It aims to establish platforms for tourism collaboration, innovative applications, and enhanced consumption, while improving market-oriented operations, standardized construction, regulated management, and intelligent tourism practices. Ultimately, the conference seeks to stimulate economic growth and benefit the local community.

Jiang Xingcheng, Deputy Director-General of the Heilongjiang Department of Culture and Tourism, highlighted four key aspects of the conference:

(1) Outlining tourism development at the county level. This is the first time the conference is being held in a county-level city, with the goal of establishing Fuyuan as a prominent tourist destination and achieving economic advancements. Fuyuan serves as a key gateway for China’s opening to Northeast Asia.

(2) Enhancing interconnectivity to create a new hub for openness and cooperation. The event will host political and business leaders from nearly 20 countries and regions, including Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, to strengthen tourism connections.

(3) Integrating tourism with diverse sectors. Efforts will focus on seamlessly combining tourism with industries such as agriculture, sports, commerce, trade, and healthcare.

(4) Utilizing high-tech to drive industrial upgrades. Advanced technologies like metaverse, artificial intelligence, and virtual reality will expedite the development of new quality productive forces, showcasing innovative tourism scenarios, models, and applications.

Leveraging the opportunity to host the conference, Fuyuan has collaborated with renowned domestic and international travel agencies to create specialized tour routes, including the “Auspicious Sunrise” tour, the “Two Countries, One Heixiazi Island” tour, and the “Two Rivers and Two Cities” tour.
