Düsseldorf, August 06, 2025 — ADTechnology, a leading South Korean semiconductor design firm, is partnering with Ubitium, an innovative German fabless semiconductor company, to manufacture its groundbreaking UB410 microprocessor.

The UB410 is a cutting-edge general-purpose microprocessor designed to replace traditional CPUs, GPUs, DSPs, and FPGAs with a single, unified computing architecture. Developed by Ubitium, it streamlines system design by eliminating the need for multiple processor types and disparate toolchains, offering a universal platform for AI, signal processing, and general computing tasks. This results in simplified systems, reduced expenses, and effortless support for advanced on-device intelligence.

According to the agreement, ADTechnology will be a crucial implementation partner, overseeing backend design and coordinating manufacturing as a Design Solution Partner (DSP) using Samsung Foundry’s FinFET technologies. Prototype tape-out is scheduled for the latter half of 2025, with mass production expected in late 2026 or early 2027.

“We founded Ubitium to reimagine the fundamentals of computing,” stated Hyun-Shin Cho, CEO of Ubitium. “The UB410 isn’t just another processor; it’s a completely new category. By integrating traditionally separate computing domains like CPU, GPU, DSP, and FPGA into a single, programmable architecture, we are removing complexity at both the hardware and software levels. This simplifies product design, accelerates time to market, and broadens access to advanced on-device AI across various industries. Our partnership with ADTechnology brings us closer to realizing this vision in silicon.”

“We are thrilled to support Ubitium in bringing this revolutionary processor architecture to fruition,” expressed Jun-Gyu Park, CEO of ADTechnology. “As the largest design house in Korea, we possess extensive expertise in advanced SoC implementation and will guarantee a seamless transition from RTL to manufacturing.”

“We are happy to see innovators such as Ubitium utilizing Samsung Foundry’s competitive, mature FinFET technology through reliable partners like ADTechnology,” commented Tae-Joong Song, Vice President and Head of Foundry Technology Planning Team at Samsung Electronics. “We anticipate supporting the development of next-generation processors for on-device intelligence.”

As computing increasingly shifts to the edge, the UB410 offers the performance, flexibility, and simplicity necessary to power the next generation of intelligent devices, spanning robotics, autonomous systems, industrial automation, audio processing, and smart consumer products.
