TIANJIN, China, June 21, 2024 — The 2024 World Intelligence Expo commenced on June 20 in Tianjin, a coastal city in northern China. This year’s expo marks a new chapter in its history as it is jointly hosted by Tianjin and Chongqing, a city located in western China.

The four-day event, themed “Intelligence: Extensive Development Space, Sustainable Growth Driver,” is a high-profile international gathering that caters to industry professionals and focuses on the market.

The expo is designed to be efficient, cost-effective, and environmentally conscious, seamlessly integrating exhibitions, interactive experiences, and competitions. By leveraging the resources of both Tianjin and Chongqing, the event aims to elevate intelligent technology advancements.

The expo emphasizes its professional focus and strives to become a leading indicator for the intelligent industry.

With an exhibition space spanning 100,000 square meters, the expo attracts the participation of prominent domestic and international businesses, experts, scholars, platform organizations, and media outlets. The event encompasses exhibitions and a variety of associated activities.

In terms of specialized fields, the expo features ten thematic exhibitions, covering topics such as artificial intelligence, intelligent connected vehicles, intelligent manufacturing, and robotics. Nearly all cutting-edge and trending themes within the intelligent industry are represented.

Furthermore, the exhibition showcases innovative aspects of intelligent development, highlighting emerging trends.

A wide array of cutting-edge technologies, new products, and novel experiences from across the globe are on display. These include over 40 renowned large language models, such as Baidu’s Ernie Bot, Alibaba Cloud’s Qwen, and iFlytek’s Spark.

In the realm of intelligent robotics, there are humanoid robots from UBTech, China Mobile’s bionic robot, Unitree’s quadruped robot, and Fourier Intelligence’s smart robot.

Additionally, in the field of the low-altitude economy, there is XPeng’s flying car, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles from EHang, Ikingtec, EFY Tech, and Yunyao Aerospace Technology, among others.

The exhibition also features the debut of a dedicated pavilion showcasing intelligent connected vehicles, featuring domestic and international car manufacturers such as FAW Toyota, FAW Volkswagen, Great Wall Motors, Siles, Xiaomi, NIO, Xpeng, and Tesla.

A series of signature competitions will be held during the exhibition. This year’s event will feature three major competitions: the RoboCup Asia-Pacific Tianjin Invitational Tournament, the World Intelligent Driving Challenge, and the International Intelligent Sports Congress.

The exhibition boasts an international presence, attracting participants from 49 countries and regions. It also serves as an open platform to facilitate industrial cooperation and business development.
