The Global Panda Partners 2024 conference, themed “Harmonious Coexistence Between Man and Nature,” concluded in Chengdu on November 26th. Organized by the Xinhua News Agency Sichuan Branch, Xinhua News Agency News & Information Center, and the China Wildlife Conservation Association, the event brought together over 380 experts and scholars from more than 30 countries and regions. Discussions focused on ecological civilization, panda culture, and international cultural tourism, exploring new avenues for green development and ecological progress.

As the conference’s “official strategic partner” and “exclusive Baijiu partner,” Wuliangye actively participated, showcasing its commitment to “harmony, coexistence, beauty, and cooperation” in fostering ecological harmony and promoting cultural exchange.

Baijiu production is intrinsically linked to regional ecology, demanding a pristine natural environment. Wuliangye Group’s Party Committee Secretary and Chairman, Zeng Congqin, emphasizes ecological protection as crucial for the company’s sustainable growth.

Representing Chinese liquor culture, Wuliangye’s brewing methods reflect centuries of wisdom. Its ancient recipes and techniques, passed down through generations, embody a rich cultural heritage. As a five-grain spirit, Wuliangye promotes a “Harmony of Wuliangye” brand proposition, aligning with its “Harmony” ethos and commitment to enriching lives. The conference’s theme resonates deeply with Wuliangye’s longstanding emphasis on harmony.

Recognizing nature’s importance, Wuliangye integrates green development into its strategy. This includes maintaining the Yangtze River’s water quality to Wuliangye production standards, while actively reducing carbon emissions and promoting sustainable practices.

In 2021, Wuliangye pioneered the concept of a “zero-carbon liquor enterprise,” garnering significant attention. This dedication to green development complements the conference’s advocacy for ecological progress and low-carbon initiatives. Both share a commitment to harmony and sustainable practices.

The “More Than Pandas in Sichuan” tourism route, launched during the event, includes the Wuliangye Scenic Area within its “Yibin Ecotourism Route,” highlighting its significance.

On November 29th, Global Panda Partner Sichuan Tour participants visited Wuliangye’s “Ten-Mile Liquor City,” a national green factory and ecological park, exploring the environmental sustainability aspects of Baijiu production through site visits and discussions.

Wuliangye representatives stated the company will continue prioritizing ecology and cultural exchange, furthering green development through concrete actions. This commitment aims to ensure sustainable growth and foster international understanding.
