MANILA, Philippines – The April 2023 Civil Engineer (CE) board exam results, including the official list of passers, topnotchers (top 10), top performing schools and performance of schools, are expected to be released online on April 28, 2023 or in four (4) working days after the last day of exam.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) conducted the first Civil Engineering licensure exam this year on April 23 and 24 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, and Palawan.

The members of the Board of Civil Engineering who gave the licensure examination are Engr. Praxedes P. Bernardo, Chairman; Engr. Pericles P. Dakay and Engr. Romeo A. Estañero, Members.

REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to https://online.prc.gov.ph/ and follow instructions for initial registration.

Those who will register are required to bring the following:

  • downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • notice of admission (for identification only)
  • 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
  • 2 sets of documentary stamps
  • 1 piece short brown envelope

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.


VERIFICATION OF RATINGS

Civil Engineer board exam’s verification of ratings (passers, non-passers and removal) can be done online.

Visit PRC’s “Verification of Rating” service and enter the required information to verify your identity. Note that this will be available in few working days after the release of results.


COVERAGE OF EXAMINATION

Civil Engineer board exams cover the following major subjects: mathematics, surveying and transportation engineering (35%), hydraulics and geotechnical engineering (30%) and structural engineering and construction (35%).


RELEASE OF RESULTS

According to PRC Resolution No. 1589 series of 2022, the target release of Civil Engineer board exam results is on Friday, April 28, 2023 or in four (4) working days after the exams.

Note that results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice. We advise takers to monitor announcement of results starting Thursday, April 27.


PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS

In the November 2022 Civil Engineer board exams, PRC released result in six (6) working days. A total of 8,029 out of 20,407 passed the exams. Carl Jervin Rivera Magtira from University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) topped the board with 95.00%.

In the May 2022 Civil Engineer board exams, PRC announced results in five (5) working days. A total of 5,836 out of 13,781 passed the exams. Arianne Joyce Anselmo Dameg from University of the Philippines (UP)-Diliman, Archigine Agleham Labrador from University of Saint Louis – Tuguegarao and Jameson Glen Chiu Lim from Xavier University tied on first spot with identical rating of 93.95%.

In the November 2021 Civil Engineer board exams, PRC was able to release results in eight (8) working days. A total of 2,374 out of 6,474 passed the exams. Rajiv Nooh Dalagan Amil from Ateneo de Davao University topped the board with 93.25%.

In the November 2019 CE board exams, a total of 6,510 out of 15,075 hurdled the exams. Lou Mervin Tristan Pua Mahilum from University of San Carlos topped the board with 93.25%.

In the May 2019 exams, 3,372 out of 8,855 passed the board. Ronie Tanilon Tarriga II from University of Cebu led the passers with 95.20%.

In the November 2018 exams, PRC named 6,262 out of 13,887 who successfully passed the exams. Jaydee Niere Lucero of UP – Diliman aced the board with 97.20%.

Results were released online in four (4) working days in all exams from November 2017 to November 2019.
