MANILA, Philippines – The October 2022 Chemist board exam results, including the official list of passers, topnotchers (top 10), top performing schools and performance of schools are expected to be released online on October 24-27 or in 3-6 working days after the exam.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) conducted the Chemistry board exam on October 17 and 18 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Koronadal, Pampanga, Tacloban and Zamboanga. Meanwhile, the Chemical Chemical Technician exam was administered on October 19.
The members of the Board of Chemistry who gave the licensure examinations are Ms. Adoracion P. Resurreccion, Chairman; Ms. Soledad S. Castañeda and Ms. Ma. Theresa C. Cayton, Members.

Note: Those who failed to pass the board examination for Chemist but had obtained a rating of at least 70% in any two (2) subjects can register as Chemical Technician.
REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING
According to PRC, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to https://online.prc.gov.ph/ and follow instructions for initial registration.
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date of the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC said.
VERIFICATION OF RATINGS
The Chemist board exam’s verification of ratings (passers, non-passers and removal) can be done online.
Visit PRC’s “Verification of Rating” service and provide the required information to verify your identity. Note that this will be available in few working days after the release of results.
COVERAGE OF EXAMINATION
The two-day examination for Chemist covered the following major subjects: inorganic chemistry (25%), organic chemistry (15%), analytical chemistry (25%), physical chemistry (20%) and biochemistry (15%).
RELEASE OF RESULTS
According to PRC Resolution No. 1439 series of 2021, the target release of recent Chemist board exam results is on Thursday, October 27 or in six (6) working days after the last day of exam.
Note that results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice. We advise takers to monitor announcement of results starting Monday, October 24.
PREVIOUS EXAMS
In the October 2021 Chemist board exam, PRC released results in four (4) working days. A total of 134 out of 369 passed the tests.
In the last Chemistry board exam before the COVID-19 pandemic (October 2019), PRC released results in two (2) working days. A total of 457 out of 1,085 passed the exams.
In the October 2018 exams, results were also announced in 2 working days. PRC named 496 out of 1,101 who passed the tests.
