MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) will announce soon the top performing schools in the May 2023 Chemical Engineer board exam.
PRC conducted the Chemical Engineer licensure exam (CELE) in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, and Rosales on May 16, 17 and 18, 2023.

PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the October 2022 Chemical Engineer board exam, University of the Philippines (UP) – Diliman led the schools with 96.36% or 53 out of 55 passed the exams. UP-Los Baños came in second with 92.59% or 25 out of 27 passed.
In the May 2022 Chemical Engineer board exam, University of the Philippines (UP) – Diliman and University of San Carlos (USC) tied on first spot for the top performing schools list, 100% passing rate, 44 and 31 passed, respectively. UP-Los Baños followed with 95.45% (42 out of 44 passed).
In the October 2021 Chemical Engineer board exam, UP – Diliman topped the schools with 100% passing rate or all 14 takers passed. USC ranked second with 94.12% or 16 out of 17 passed.
In the last ChemEng board exam before the pandemic (November 2019), UP – Diliman also led the schools with 100% passing rate or all 119 takers hurdled the tests. UPLB followed with 86.67% or 78 out of 90 passed.
In the May 2019 exams, De La Salle University (DLSU) – Manila was the lone top performing school with 91.30% or 21 out of 23 passed.
In the November 2018 Chemical Engineer board exam, UP – Diliman led the schools with 96.10% or 74 out of 77 passed the exams. UPLB came in second spot with 92.06% or 58 out of 63 passed.
