The Global Panda Partners 2024 (GPP) conference, an open international forum dedicated to fostering collaboration and consensus-building for global ecological progress, commenced on Tuesday in Chengdu, China. This academic platform, focused on “Harmonious Coexistence Between Man and Nature,” attracted over 380 participants from more than 30 countries and regions, including government representatives, experts, and the public.
Discussions encompassed ecological civilization, panda conservation, and international cultural tourism, aiming to define an ecologically responsible and sustainable development path.
A significant event was the unveiling of a joint report on ecological civilization development, produced by a leading Chinese think tank and a research institute.
The conference was jointly organized by Xinhua News Agency Sichuan Branch, Xinhua News Agency News and Information Center, China Wildlife Conservation Association, and Chengdu Media Group.
