Superblock’s OverProtocol successfully distributed 57 million OVER tokens (5.7% of the total supply) to approximately 420,000 unique accounts through its OverFlex mobile app, starting December 15th at 8:00 PM (EST).

Introducing ‘Home Staking’: A Core Feature
OverProtocol aims for true decentralization by reducing reliance on, and costs associated with, institutional validators. Its OverScape PC node client app lets users download the blockchain, validate transactions, and propose blocks—tasks typically handled by institutions—earning native OVER tokens as rewards.
Expanding Utility via Decentralized Finance (DeFi) Integration
Earned OVER tokens will be usable in various upcoming OverProtocol DeFi services. The initial offering, ‘OverFlex Market,’ is a platform for purchasing real-world goods using mobile tickets. Future plans include enabling home stakers to invest their OVER tokens in real-world assets, resell them for profit, or use them as loan collateral, fostering active financial engagement.
