SHENYANG, China, Sept. 18, 2024 — The 2024 Global Industrial Internet Conference, held in Shenyang from September 11 to 14, was a resounding success. This year’s event featured a diverse program, including an opening ceremony, a keynote forum, an innovation achievement exhibition, two specialized conferences, 22 thematic forums, competitions, and exchange events. The conference’s theme, “Revitalizing Manufacturing with Intelligence, Renewing the Old”, underscored the goal of transforming and enhancing traditional industries through the integration of cutting-edge information technology. The conference also emphasized the importance of dual-spiral development driven by technological innovation to foster the continuous rejuvenation of established industrial bases.
The venue for this year’s conference reflected the seamless blending of “new” and “old”. The main venue, the Industrial Museum of China (Shenyang), hosted an exhibition that showcased the harmonious convergence of these two elements. The innovation achievement exhibition not only displayed the latest breakthroughs in integrating new-generation information technology with manufacturing but also featured a special “Major National Equipment Exhibition”. This exhibition provided an “immersive” experience through a combination of holographic projections and physical objects, showcasing a series of groundbreaking achievements in independent innovation and highlighting China’s new industrial accomplishments. Moreover, to facilitate the participation of citizens and visitors who came to Shenyang for the Mid-Autumn Festival, the innovation achievement exhibition remained open until September 17.
Since its inception in 2019, the Global Industrial Internet Conference has been held annually for six consecutive years, solidifying its position as a comprehensive conference with global influence in the industrial internet field. The conference serves as a vital platform for fostering exchanges and cooperation among diverse stakeholders in technology, applications, and industry, driving innovation and development in China’s industrial internet sector.
