The Shenzhen International Eye Industry Expo, themed “Light Vision,” concluded its three-day run (December 27-29) at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center (Futian). Spanning 15,000 square meters, the expo drew over 150 leading brands and more than 20,000 international industry professionals. It served as a premier platform for business networking and knowledge sharing within the optics sector.
Eight dedicated exhibition zones showcased the latest eyewear products, technologies, and trends. These included areas focusing on eyewear brands, supporting industry chains, smart eyewear, innovative technologies, and designer showcases. Shenzhen’s prominent position as a global eyewear hub, encompassing manufacturing, branding, design, sales, and smart technologies, was prominently featured.
The expo featured prominent global eyewear and smart device manufacturers such as CHAMELO, FLIPO, Xiaomi, and ARTS, alongside leading designers and international experts. Discussions centered on globalization opportunities, brand development, ecosystem creation, technological advancements, and future eyewear design trends, stimulating industry innovation.
A significant highlight was the smart eyewear exhibition zone, presenting cutting-edge research and design in the field and offering visitors hands-on experiences with smart glasses incorporating AI, AR, VR, and other advanced technologies.
Concurrent events included new product launches, business matchmaking sessions, and an eyewear consumer week. The Shenzhen International Eyewear (Wearable Design Contest) 2024 attracted over 2,400 entries from designers worldwide (China, France, Britain, Italy, Spain, etc.), providing valuable insights into the future of smart wearable devices. The Light Vision 2024 Shenzhen International Optics Fair energized the global eyewear industry, showcasing its future trajectory and technological forefront.
