SINGAPORE, April 07, 2025 — Trident Digital Tech Holdings Ltd (NASDAQ: TDTH) (“Trident” or the “Company”), a leading digital transformation, technology optimization, and Web 3.0 activation firm based in Singapore, has announced advancements in its public-private partnership (PPP) with the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). This announcement follows a series of engagements in the DRC, led by Trident’s Founder, Chairman, and CEO, Soon Huat Lim, which highlighted the transformative potential of the company’s digital identification technology.

A key event occurred on March 15th, 2025, in Kinshasa, where H.E. Mr. Lim, who attended the event, emphasized the game-changing potential of the secure digital identity solution: “This initiative will revolutionize all sectors of our economy by decreasing identity fraud and cybercrime to safeguard our digital future, transforming public administration through reduced bureaucracy and increased transparency, accelerating financial inclusion by enabling millions of unbanked citizens to access banking services and digital payments, simplifying student identification, online learning, and academic verification in education, and improving healthcare access with secure medical records.”

As validation efforts progress, Trident and the DRC government are preparing to roll out a secure, inclusive digital identity system poised to unlock significant opportunities for Congolese citizens. Expected impacts include the creation of over 30,000 direct and indirect jobs in digital technology, cybersecurity, administration, and services; a 40% boost in financial inclusion, providing millions with access to banking and digital services; a 50% decrease in administrative delays, enhancing the efficiency and accessibility of public services; stimulation of economic growth through streamlined cross-border trade and investment; and enhanced social protection and public services through secure digital identification for healthcare, education, and social assistance.

Minister Kibassa reaffirmed this vision, highlighting the project’s profound importance. He stated that it represents a transformative step toward improving governance, inclusion, and transparency, serving as a crucial foundation for economic transformation under the leadership of President Félix Tshisekedi and Prime Minister Judith Suminwa, according to Minister Kibassa.

“Thanks to cutting-edge technologies like Web 3.0 blockchain, artificial intelligence, biometrics, and zero-knowledge proofs, Trident will redefine trust in digital interactions. This is more than just a tool—it’s a catalyst for nationwide and continental transformation,” Lim added.

During his visit to the DRC, Lim also engaged with government officials, local innovators, and business leaders to encourage collaboration and develop the digital ecosystem. He reiterated Trident’s dedication to supporting Congolese startups and digital enterprises, ensuring the project promotes local economic growth while positioning the DRC as a leader in Africa’s digital evolution.
