GUANGZHOU, China, May 19, 2025 — Viomi Technology Co., Ltd (“Viomi” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ: VIOT), a leading Chinese provider of home water solutions, has announced the launch of its Kunlun 4 Pro Alkaline Mineral Water Purifier. The purifier, revealed at a product event on May 16th, utilizes AI to mimic natural mineral water creation, aiming to shift household drinking water from simple “pure water” to “pure mineral water,” providing families with mineral-rich water at home.
To address growing consumer demand for mineral-rich water, Viomi established the Kunlun Mineral Technology Research Center, investing over RMB100 million over three years. In collaboration with the China University of Geosciences, the research team explored various mountain regions in China, selecting Kunlun natural ore as the purifier’s core material. The Kunlun 4 Pro features the Kunlun Filter, a 7+1 level fine filtration system that removes over 100 harmful substances while adding six beneficial minerals: strontium, sodium, magnesium, potassium, calcium, and metasilicic acid, mirroring natural mineral spring water.
Viomi has also established four industry-leading “pure mineral water” standards. First, the purifier uses carefully chosen raw materials, including natural mineral ore in the filter to produce mineral-rich water with six essential minerals. Second, it employs an AI-powered slow-release system for the gradual release of these six minerals. Third, it offers real-time pH monitoring, maintaining a slightly alkaline profile. Finally, the product has earned both “Excellent Water Quality” and “Maternal and Infant Mineral Grade” certifications, highlighting its safety and suitability for vulnerable populations and the broader market, promoting industry advancement towards healthier, smarter, and higher-quality water purification.
At the launch event, Viomi also presented the industry’s first “Group Standard for Household and Similar Use Maternal and Infant Mineral Water Purifiers,” created in partnership with the China Inspection and Testing Society and the China Household Electrical Appliances Research Institute. The Kunlun 4 Pro is the first product certified under this standard, reinforcing its safety and health benefits for sensitive groups.
