Singapore is known as the “Garden City” for its well-maintained urban environment. This collaboration between WeRide and CTM aims to provide advanced, unmanned sanitation services to enhance the city’s cleanliness.

CTM is one of Singapore’s largest cleaning and waste management companies, working closely with the government, entertainment, and tourism sectors. It is a prominent leader in sanitation in Singapore.

WeRide is a global leader in autonomous driving technology, operating in 30 cities across seven countries. The company offers a range of autonomous products for smart sanitation, logistics, and mobility, making it a leading force in the autonomous driving industry.

Since September 2022, WeRide’s smart sanitation services have been deployed in multiple Chinese cities, including Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Beijing. These deployments serve as models for smart city development, improving the livability and tourist appeal of these urban areas.

The WeRide Robosweeper S6 is equipped with high-precision sensors and AI algorithms, allowing it to effectively perform tasks like road sweeping, water spraying, and disinfection. The Robosweeper can autonomously detect road conditions, avoid pedestrians and obstacles, ensuring safe and reliable operation while improving cleaning efficiency.

Furthermore, the WeRide Robosweeper operates on an all-electric drive system, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by an average of nearly 10,000 kilograms per month. This low-carbon footprint contributes significantly to the green transformation of Singapore’s sanitation sector.

This expansion into Singapore marks WeRide’s successful entry into the international smart sanitation market. WeRide views Singapore as a strategic hub, and will partner with local companies to expand into the Southeast Asian sanitation market, offering efficient and high-quality unmanned sanitation services to more countries and cities.
