The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Mechanical Engineering administered the licensure exam in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Zamboanga, and Palawan on August 5 and 6, 2023.

REGISTRATION OF PASSERS
The registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to https://online.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.
Date of Registration: TBA
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examinations WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC said.
VERIFICATION OF RATINGS
Mechanical Engineering board exam verification of ratings (passers, non-passers and removal) can be done online. Visit PRC’s “Verification of Rating” service and provide the required information to verify your identity. Note that this can be available in few days after the exam.
EXAMINATION COVERAGE
Examinations for ME board exam covered the following major subjects: industrial and power plant engineering (Day 1); mathematics, engineering economics and basic engineering services, machine design, materials and shop practice (Day 2).
RELEASE OF RESULTS
According to PRC Resolution No. 1589 s. 2022, the target release of Mechanical Engineer board exam results is on Thursday, August 10 or in four (4) working days after the exam.
However, results may be released ahead of the target or in later date without prior notice.
PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the February 2023 Mechanical Engineer (ME) board exam, PRC announced results in three (3) working days. The agency listed 3,774 out of 6,070 who passed the ME board and 65 out of 90 passed the CPM board exams.
In the August 2022 Mechanical Engineer (ME) board exam, results were released in six (6) working days after the last day of examinations. PRC named 3,184 out of 5,880 who passed the ME board exam and 140 out of 174 who have passed the CPM board exams.
In the February 2022 ME board exam, PRC released results in five (5) working days. A total of 2,121 out of 3,780 passed the tests. The agency also named 52 out of 95 who hurdled the CPM exams.
In the August 2019 ME board exam, results were released in 6 working days. A total of 247 out of 621 passed the exams. Meanwhile, 18 out of 29 hurdled the CPM exams.
In the last ME board exam before the pandemic (February 2020), PRC announced results in two (2) working days. A total of 1,334 out of 3,469 passed the ME and 48 out of 80 passed the CPM board exams.
