At the recent JETOUR Global Travel+ Conference 2024 in Fuzhou, JETOUR highlighted the significance of wildlife conservation and reiterated its commitment to “Travel as ESG Practices.” Following a preview of Discovery’s documentary, “Return of the Cheetah,” JETOUR, alongside the documentary’s star, biologist and artist Hazen Audel, launched a charity auction for cheetah conservation. All proceeds will be donated to support these efforts, demonstrating JETOUR’s ongoing dedication to environmental protection.

JETOUR: A Long-Term Commitment to Cheetah Conservation

Over 1,000 attendees at the conference viewed a preview of “Return of the Cheetah,” a documentary jointly produced by JETOUR, the Discovery Channel, and the Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF). Using the Namibian grasslands as a setting, the film showcases the global plight of cheetahs and encourages participation in conservation efforts to safeguard their future and the environment.

During a discussion on cheetah conservation with CCF founder Dr. Laura Marker and Hazen Audel, JETOUR Auto Vice President Ke Chuandeng stated, “Public service transcends mere donations; it’s about inspiring widespread participation. Our cheetah conservation project aims to raise awareness and encourage involvement. Collective action, however small, generates significant positive impact, building a more harmonious world.”

JETOUR Auto President Li Xueyong added, “As JETOUR’s global operations expand, we increasingly recognize the vital interdependence of economic growth and environmental sustainability. Environmental stewardship benefits all. Our collaboration with CCF marks the beginning of our continued commitment to ecological conservation and global sustainable development.”
