LLVision, a global augmented reality (AR) firm, introduced its latest consumer product, the Leion Hey2 AR translation glasses, at a launch event in Seoul on June 24, 2025. The glasses offer real-time AI translation in over 100 languages, displaying live subtitles of spoken dialogue in the wearer’s field of view. The company reported over 10,000 pre-orders within two hours of the launch, indicating significant global interest.

The Leion Hey2 is designed for everyday multilingual interactions, such as international business meetings, global travel, and studying abroad. It instantly shows translated text in the user’s vision, allowing for natural conversations without needing to look at a phone. LLVision’s tagline, “Look up, speak out,” emphasizes its goal of restoring natural communication across language barriers. According to Roy Lou, COO of LLVision, their aim is to bring communication back to its natural, human form.

The Seoul event highlighted the Hey2’s high accuracy, low latency, and long battery life. The system uses 360° spatial audio capture and noise reduction to achieve up to 98% speech recognition accuracy, even in noisy environments. During the event, LLVision CEO Wu Fei spoke in Chinese to the international audience, and attendees wearing the Hey2 glasses saw live English, Korean, and Japanese subtitles, demonstrating the device’s real-time translation capabilities. The integrated low-power system and portable charging case enable up to 8 hours of continuous use on a single charge, extendable to 96 hours with the charging case.

In addition to translation, the Leion Hey2 features Hey Agent, an integrated AI assistant that can switch languages, take notes and reminders, provide weather and finance updates, and generate multi-language meeting summaries via voice or touch command. This voice-activated assistant integrates LLVision’s AR and AI capabilities into daily tasks, making the glasses a versatile smart device.

Despite its advanced capabilities, the Leion Hey2 is lightweight, weighing only 49 grams. It uses advanced waveguide optics, with lenses only 0.4 mm thick, to display high-contrast subtitles (up to 2500 nits brightness) even in bright conditions.

LLVision recently displayed the Leion Hey2 at the “Accessibility for All Exhibition: Building an Inclusive Future” at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, hosted by the United Nations Office. Attendees experienced firsthand how this AR translation technology can promote social inclusion and overcome communication barriers for individuals with disabilities.

LLVision, established in 2014, is an international AR technology firm with offices in Singapore and Beijing. With over 270 AR patents and a leading position in the enterprise AR market, it has received over 180 industry awards. Its AR solutions include smart glasses for the hearing-impaired (a UNESCO innovation award winner in 2022) and an AR maintenance platform mentioned alongside ChatGPT in Harvard Business Review’s 2024 technology trends. These achievements highlight LLVision’s aim to use AR and AI to facilitate global understanding.

The Leion Hey2 translation glasses are scheduled to begin shipping to consumers later in 2025. With this launch, LLVision aims to make AR translation a common reality, allowing individuals worldwide to understand the world in their own language.
