MANILA, Philippines – The July 2023 Interior Designer board exam results, including the official list of passers, topnotchers (top 10), top performing schools and performance of schools, are expected to be released on or before July 25 or in thirteen (13) working days after the last day of examinations.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) conducted the Interior Design licensure exam (IDLE) in Manila, Cebu and Davao on July 4, 5 and 6, 2023.

REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.
VERIFICATION OF RATINGS
Interior Designer board exam’s verification of ratings (passers, non-passers and removal) can be done online.
Visit PRC’s “Verification of Rating” service and enter the required information to verify your identity. Note that this will be available in few working days after the release of results.
COVERAGE OF EXAMINATION
The three-day IDLE covered the following major subjects: interior design, furniture design and construction, materials of design and decoration, history of arts and interior design, interior construction and utilities, color theory and professional practice and ethics.
RELEASE OF RESULTS
According to PRC Resolution No. 1589 s. 2022, the target release of July 2023 Interior Design board exam results is on Tuesday, July 25.

PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the July 2022 Interior Designer board exam, PRC announced results in thirteen (13) working days after the exams. The agency named 266 out of 405 who successfully hurdled the exams. University of the Philippines (UP) – Diliman was the lone top performing school with 92.86% passing rate or 26 out of 28 passed.
In the June 2019 Interior Designer board exam, PRC released results in fourteen (14) working days. A total of 211 out of 320 successfully hurdled the exams. Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) – Sta. Mesa was the top performing school with 91.67% or 22 out of 24 passed.
In the November 2018 Interior Designer board exam, results were announced in thirteen (13) working days. A total of 251 out of 452 passed the exams. UP-Diliman led the schools with 91.30% passing rate or 21 out of 23 passed.
In the November 2017 exam, results were released in eight (8) working days. PRC named 113 out of 473 who passed the exams. None of the schools qualified for the top schools list per Commission Resolution No. 2010-547 series of 2010.
In the October 2016 exams, results were also out in 8 working days. A total of 213 out of 419 successfully hurdled the series of tests. UP-Diliman topped the schools with 95.35% or 41 out of 43 passed.
